It’s Monday guys {but I’m sure you knew that already}. Despite my long weekend, I’m not feeling as well-rested or refreshed as I thought. But I suppose that’s what happens when you work all weekend long and proceed to stay up late {yes, 11pm is late} to watch the Golden Globes. I’m such a sucker for celebrities, awkward live TV moments and red carpets so naturally I’m slightly obsessed with award show season. Speaking of awkward moments how great was Natalie Portman’s little line about her fiancĂ©e being the best actor? I may be biased because she also gave a shout out to Cincinnati. But for me the best awkward moment {actually it’s a tie} is between RDJ and Andrew Garfield. No fashion nitpicking from this girl, I’ll just stick to the awesome little awkward moments. Amusement over fashion kids.

  4. I caught about ten minutes of the GGs. My jaw dropped for Scarlett Johansen's dress and then my husband told me it was ugly. Apparently, he's more nitpicky than I am.
Love the color of your cardigan!

  5. The GGs were quite entertaining this year. I'm pretty much in love with RDJ...awkward and all. :) And I was totally not impressed with Ricky Gervais....he made awkward turn into uncomfortable. Blech.

Hope you have a good Monday! That necklace is a perfect touch!!

  8. I loved the Cincinnati shout-out, too! I lived there for five years after college, before relocating to Atlanta, and it still has a special place in my heart :)

I love the outfit, overall, but I am especially loving the necklace!
