{Top: Loft, Top over the Top: Anthro, Cardigan & Skirt: J Crew, Belt: Limited, Tights: Gap, Boots: Steve Madden}
I’m not sure if my creativity is gone or I’m just loving this cardigan. I think I’ve worn it something like the last 3 of 4 days. Don’t believe me? Look at yesterday. This little jewel toned cardi has been getting it's fair share of attention around these parts. It might even be competing with another well known cardigan for top honors. If nothing else, it was a great Christmas present. I wonder who that great shopper was? Oh right, me. Thanks to my mom for wrapping it and putting it under the tree regardless. It's only March and this lovely has seen the light of the blog 8 {today makes 9} times. See below for a refresher.
Today must be a day of realizations, cause not only did I see past visions of this cardi, I also realized that today should be day 30. But of course somehow I managed to let 3 outfits escape without photos. Why did I skimp on the photos my birthday weekend? Being that I’m not a quitter {at least not anymore} I will be giving you 3 more outfits. Although I may {or may not} be re-wearing those undocumented weekend outfits, I can’t make any guarantees. Oh and incase you're curious, I'm wearing a total five 30 for 30 items today. I'm fairly certain that is a new personal best.
It may be your personal best, but it's my personal favorite! Love all the colors you have going on.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing everyone's 30 for 30 posts. I've been thinking about trying that sometime because they're always interesting to read. It seems daunting but you all make it look amazing!

Love this outfit! For some reason it reminds me of P.S. I love you..the part when he talks about all the colors she's wearing. I need more color in my closet!
ReplyDeleteYou remixed the cardigan so well you can barely tell it's the same one!
ReplyDeleteI'm guilty of wearing my black cardi way too much! But they are those kind of items you can never really get enough, blame them for always looking good and being so matchables! ... Love all the outfits!

Hey when a cardi works, you should work it! Love the blouse as well.
ReplyDeleteCardigans are like jackets in my opinion, they should and can be worn over everything. Especially when they're a neutral color. My black cardi gets lots of wear in the work-wear rotation. Loving this color scheme on you as well, it's bright and happy and spring-looking. Great combination :)
ReplyDeleteGreat skirt and I love that color of blue with it!

OOOh I LOVE that cardigan. I am that way with my grey cardi. I have it on today and have had it on multiple times this week. Perfaps people are beginning to think I'm homeless and can't afford other clothes, but whatev. Also I LOVE those little boots! so cute.
ReplyDeleteMy grey leopard print cardigan has become a weekly staple, and I'm not even remixing! It's cute, casual, and comfy, and adds some spice to an otherwise not-so-exciting outfit. Green is a great color on YOU and the tone of your cardigan can be treated as a jewel tone OR neutral, so it really does go with everything! I love that second to last photo of you! Extra super cute!
ReplyDeleteThat's alright--I slacked too. Stupid forgetting outfit photos!
ReplyDeleteThe mustard and cobalt is lovely--such a great transition-to-spring color scheme.
I love the color of your skirt - mustard yellow is seriously one of my favorites, you pull it off fabulously!

i love how you layered the tops with the skirt. and this cardi looks great on you. i don't blame you at all for wearing it everyday!
ReplyDeletecute and little
I love the layering in this outfit! It has so much depth but doesn't feel 'heavy' (does that make sense at all? maybe i'm rambling..). either way, it's adorable.
ReplyDeleteI love the montage of your cardigan remixing abilities. I need to do more of that over on my blog as well. Five items is a lot...I'd have to go back and check but I'm fairly certain I've never moved past 4. You're my new hero, Liz.
ReplyDeleteLove the color combos!
