{Top: NY&Co., Skirt: Limited, Belt: J Crew, Shoes: Macys}
Two days is the apparent max on Casual Liz. Not that I don't want to be Casual Liz, its just that my boss prefers BC {business casual} Liz. So here we are and a skirt it is. And look - bare legs! The weather is finally creeping up to the 70s and I couldn't be more ecstatic. Although as I type this, tornado sirens are going off in the background. But hey, I'll take spring weather {crazy weather warnings included} if it means the end of frost/snow/ice/oranythingelseCOLD. One of co-workers picked up on my excitement for Spring. You know what she told me? That I looked like an Easter egg. Considering what else she could of said, I'll take it as as compliment.
I love this look. that skirt is so pretty, great color- my favorite! =)

Cool color combination! I also like how you knotted the belt :-)

Ooooh, I'm jealous we had rain in PA all day! :( I love that purple skirt and the pop of yellow, cool business casual outfit!! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great color combination! I like business casual Liz. I wish it was that nice here! We had a few nice days; now we're back to the 30s.
ReplyDeleteThis colour combo is amazing! If you do look like an Easter egg.. it's definitely a yummy one :) (this sounds bad lol!)
ReplyDeleteThree colors in one outfit. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving this colorblocking! Prettiest Easter egg I've ever seen.
ReplyDeleteNorth Meets South
LOVE your color combo!!!
ReplyDeleteHoly colors, Liz!!!
ReplyDeleteIf my easter eggs turned out that saturated, I'd be making a business! LOVE this combo- LOVE that you added the yellow belt to contrast the cooler colors... and last, but not least, I need those shoes. Immediately.
Ok I am in love with your color scheme here! The purple is so bright and beautiful, and I love love love me some yellow and purple! You're the cutest easter egg I ever saw, for sure!

Try working with four year olds-- I look like some "thing" different everyday, depending on outfit, of course.
ReplyDeleteI like the three diff colors paired with the nude shoes! :)

YAY! For Spring.... BOO for warning sirens! :) I don't see "Easter Egg" at all... you look more color brigade. Beautiful styling! I am one of our avid followers! Cheers! xoxo
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a compliment! I have been inspired by your lil yellow belt on the fuchsia skirt. I have those items in my closet and you know I'll be doing it now. Thanks for the inspiration. :)
ReplyDeleteI like both Casual and Business Casual Liz equally. You look awesome and stunning no matter what. So there.
ReplyDeleteAlso, good luck with the GMAT. I believe that for business school, yes? I myself really need to crack down and take the GRE so I can apply to an Anthropology PhD. I bought the books 4 months ago, but never really made it far. So kudos to you, and good luck, and I hope you get in where you apply!

I love your pumps!!;)
ReplyDeleteYou look fantastic- not like an Easter Egg fantastic either! Great color combiniation. I have a very similar skirt but have yet to figure out how to wear it. Hmm...maybe you gave me some inspiration. I will have to wait though, cold weather has creeped back in here in KY. Stay safe in your scary weather.
ReplyDeleteI don't see the Easter egg thing lol. I wear this combination all the time, my cardigan is the same pink as your skirt today! I would love to get rid of my snow, I'm bundled up in skinny cords and boots. Bare legs of mine won't be out til June, May at the earliest! Considering there's another 15-20 cm of snow forecast for tomorrow, I think I'll be doing good if I can wear shorts by then!

You look stunning in these colors!
ReplyDeleteI just got back from Birmingham and now it's 40 here??? I was SO looking forward to bare legs today...but no. Stupid Cincinnati weather!
You look so nice and professional. I'm working on incorporating color into my work wardrobe.

SO FUN in this color combination. And I regret not putting together a tights-less outfit in the last few days, since as you know we're back to cold again.... (Also, the tornado sirens - I learned that some counties around here sound them when there's a tornado watch at the same time as a severe storm warning - so they don't necessarily mean a tornado is imminent. How we'll know when a tornado is actually here...? No idea.)
ReplyDeleteYay! We had bare-leg weather on Friday. Of course, today it snowed so we're back to square one but it certainly feels like spring is arriving. That skirt is adorable and I love the color combos!
ReplyDeleteI think you look great! I love the colors. Especially since they are easter egg-ish!

Love the nude heels. I am searching for a pair myself. Definetly going to be my Spring wardrobe staple.
ReplyDeletePeople say the weirdest things. I personally do not think you look like an Easter egg AT ALL, but if I thought one of my coworkers did I'd probably keep that little nugget to myself. I like the color combo in your outfit plus the neutral shoes.
ReplyDeleteI don't think you look like an easter egg, but who cares what they say? The color of that skirt is divine!
ReplyDeletehaha, easter egg. I for one LOVE this color combo! So bright and definitely springy. I've been enjoying the warm weather too with sleeveless dresses and bare legs, though today was 50 degrees again... no impressed mother nature!
ReplyDeleteDarling!
ReplyDeleteThanks! If it makes you feel any better the weather is not looking so great right now. Freezing temps, what?
ReplyDeleteThanks! I think I spoke too soon though Jo - it's cold again here. Boo.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kara!
ReplyDeleteThank you thank you! These shoes are awesome - I have them 2 colors. So comfortable and best of all cute!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sherry! Luckily the sirens were nothing.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your version :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Kate! And yes, the GMAT is for business school. Good luck when you start studying for the GRE. From what I hear it's a bit more streamlined than the GMAT.
ReplyDeleteUgh I know! I wore this Monday when it was a lovely 70 degrees. What happened?
ReplyDelete50 is better than the 40s here today! I want my 70s back!
ReplyDeleteI love this! So colorful and so professional. Definitely spring-like. :)
ReplyDeleteThe bright colors work b/c of the bare legs and nude shoes (which I am loving by the way!)
ReplyDeleteThis is a perfect and well put together outfit. I would so wear this. I love your use of colours and I adore the nude shoes. I have been searching for nude heels for almost a year now but I have still not been able to find the right pair.
ReplyDeleteI love all the color in this outfit. I'm a little jealous of your weather, it's freezing in Ohio.
ReplyDeleteI'm colorful in the cold. http://www.myheartblogged.com/2011/03/outfit-of-day-58-colorful-in-cold.html
