I've have a few outfit posts back logged, but I wanted to share with you Conference Liz. Thanks to the extremely large full length mirror in my room, I'm able to give you a little peak at my "conference" attire. I say "conference" because it's really just my usual work look with just a bit more polish. Think work wear after 5pm.
{Dress: Gap, Belt: J Crew Outlet, Shoes {which you can't see}: Macys}
{Top: Anthro, Pants: Limited, Shoes {which you can't see}: Macys}
{Top: LOFT, Skirt: J Crew, Belt: Anthro, Shoes {which you can't see} Macys}
There are a few outfits that didn't get photographed. C'est la vie. I suppose that means I get to re-wear them and blog them later, right?
So, I'm basically in love with everything in this post. That blue Anthro top needs to be in my closet. And the black dress with pink belt currently is (or will be as soon as my Super-Mom adjusts it).
ReplyDeleteI completely agree, if it hasn't been blogged it doesn't count and can be re-worn. That's the same as a tree falling in the forest with no one to hear it, right?
The third outfit is so so lovely!! The colour of the top is gorgeous xo
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the first look - the pink belt really adds some spring to the dress :)
ReplyDeleteOh very chic looks! I especially like the blue top in the 2nd photo. It is bright and fun!

I think the first look is my favorite - professional and fun! Darling!
ReplyDeleteHey Liz, Welcome back!
ReplyDeleteDon't you look adorable!
ReplyDeleteI have that black Gap dress too (a gift from my mom) and I love how versatile it is. I also love the second look with the cigarette pants and blue blouse. Very 60s chic!
Liz! So glad to have you back - I mean, I know we talked a little during your trip, but not nearly enough. And I adore our outfits - I like Liz's "work after 5pm" looks! Especially that Anthro top (ah! so lovely!). Welcome back!
ReplyDeleteI love that first outfit on you, welcome back Liz!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the J.Crew skirt and your pink belt, and I'm starting to notice that your bangs always look perfect. Your bangs are BANGIN', you might say. =) Good luck on the GMAT!
ReplyDeleteBlue is a very beautiful color on you! Those those blue tops and that pink belt on the black dress works great. Adorable!!! Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteYay, at last, my Liz fix! I was going through serious withdrawals. Shakes, I tell you. These outfits look BEAUTIFUL on you. Going to copy #3 a little, I think, with some semi-similar pieces..
ReplyDeleteLove all three outfits but #3 is my FAV...LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteWas the top a recent buy? The color is amazing.
Glad you are back, your new tan looks great, so in love with that navy printed tunic is so my taste!

I love the simple pop of pink against the black dress. Totally chic. And the pattern on the blue shirt is my favorite! I want one!!!!! matters of merrymaking
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous and put-together! I really love that you paired the blue top with a gray (silver?) skirt rather than basic black. And black and pink are so fun together!
ReplyDeleteAll of these outfits are absolutely fantastic! Loving the colors, the looks, everything. And glad to have you back!

ReplyDeleteI think the Gap dress will be a staple remixing piece. So many ways to wear it!
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's good to be back. My days felt oddly strange without blogging.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ashley!
ReplyDeleteOh Sara! I've had a while to perfect my bangs, but trust me they have their "off" days. Little stubborn bangs.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jen!
ReplyDeleteGlad you got your fix in Monk! You should be good for a few days right?
ReplyDeleteIt was! The LOFT has a bunch of of these sweaters in different colors. You can't tell in the photos, but it has a uber cute exposed zipper.
ReplyDeletethank you thank you!
ReplyDeleteThanks Bekah! I've been holding onto this blue top for a few weeks now, so glad to finally debut it!
ReplyDeleteThanks! The skirt is a white/black mix...so I guess gray? It's textured which I love.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kate! Glad to be back :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm love blue right now.
ReplyDeleteYay! I'm back!
ReplyDeleteLiz, I took the GMAT about 2 years ago and I'm about to graduate from ASU in a few weeks. I would say study, but plan on taking it a few times. I bombed my first time and my brother told me not to be so arrogant, most MBA students at top 50 schools had to take it at least 3 times. I was lucky that my 2nd time worked out and I decided top 30 and living near family was a good move for me.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck to you, there are so many stylish, smart women I go to school with- you'll do fantastic- maybe even on your first try! And if all else fails, you sure look fantastic!

Love the Conference Liz outfits..all of them! I took the GMAT (and later received my MBA in 2006) and didn't do as well as I had hoped but studied and did alright. It's important to know what scores the schools you are considering require for admission and scholarships. I only took the test once and had one school I was admitted to tell me I needed x number of points higher if I wanted to qualify for the next level of scholarship but another school I was admitted to gave me a pretty decent scholarship based on my original set of scores so I didn't bother retaking the exam. If you're hoping to get into a very competitive program you'll probably have to take the GMAT at least twice. Good luck with studying!!! : )
ReplyDeleteAdorable Anthro top in that second outfit! Love it. Good luck with the GMAT. Are you taking it soon?
ReplyDeleteI am completely swooning over ALL of these looks! You are so chic and beautiful!
