I may have started my 3-day weekend a wee bit early and neglected to post these photos last week. But there were dinners to enjoy, wine to be had and sun to {finally} enjoy. You understand, right? Good I knew we were friends for a reason.

Can we talk about these shoes for a min {it's my blog of course we can}. Basically I'm having trouble not wearing them. If I didn't have a track record of destroying shoes this wouldn't be a problem. But I do have said problem which doesn't really bode well for that fact that I need to wear these beauties for a wedding in August. Do you think the bride will notice if they're scuffed?

  1. I have the same problem, I destroy all my shoes...How does that happen, and how do other people keep theirs pristine?? I'll never know. Love this outfit all together, simple and pretty, and great accessories! And what a gorgeous photo location!! Those flowers are amazing!

  2. The bride will most likely NOT notice, but in the mean time walk softly and carry a big stick... I'm not sure how the stick will help though.

  5. Such cute shoes! I love the necklace too. If it's bad scuffs, then maybe, but if you love them wear them anyways! God I need to buy new shoes.

those shoes are super cute! I would definitely wear them and check each time afterwards, if they start to get worn out. Then stop wearing them, but till then, would love to see them more often on your blog :)

  17. Oooh, I love to see outfits created around black dresses -- and I love how you made this exceptionally summery. Those shoes are awesome, you should wear them until they break, nobody will notice an scuffs on them, surely!

  20. Gorgeous outfit! I am loving the elegant and colorful accessories. I think the gold will cover scuffs well (and there's always metallic sharpie in a pinch). :)
