{Top & Bracelet: H&M, Skirt: Thrifted/Newport News, Belt: Limited, Shoes: Target}
Keeping with my obsession with all things fall, I thought I’d put together an outfit with my new-to-me plum skirt. In fact, this outfit is really quite like another that barely made the blog back in the spring.
I hope you don’t mind {imagine Elton John singing you that line}.
I liked the combination of stripes and a pinkish/purpley skirt so much I figured it should get its own post rather than just me goofying around in photobooth. Although don't think I didn't goof around in the park. What else was I going besides silly faces and cart wheels with the 10 minutes I had to kill while some regular did her usual 3 laps around my photo spot?
Very unexpected combination... and still office-appropriate! I like. Very much. Can we get a better look at those shoes next time? I'm pretty sure that they're adorable.

I really like this outfit! Navy, green, and dark purple are a few of my favorite colors to wear. I'll definitely have to try wearing all three together this fall.
ReplyDeleteLOL Aren't joggers awkward to take pictures around? Ugh! Just go around!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your plum skirt and LOL-ed when you told me to imagine Elton John because I already was. ;-)
I am loving the plum skirt! Your curly hair is so great - how do you get your curls to look and stay like that? Mine always fall out by lunch!
ReplyDeleteI love this look - the colors are fantastic. Not to mention your great striped top paired with floral shoes. So pretty.
ReplyDeleteI love the look!! great skirt and the shirt combo with it is something I would never think of but it looks great together!! well done!

This outfit totally reminds me of something Suze would wear! The colors are so unexpected together but work quite nicely. You look great!
ReplyDeleteThat skirt is fantastic on you!
ReplyDeleteHaha, I had to tell Suze about this comment as soon as I saw it. I think you're right.
ReplyDeleteYou know I'd wear it ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks Jess!
ReplyDeleteLove that skirt. It looks great with the striped top too. Love the color combo.
ReplyDeleteI love your outfit. I'm glad it got a second chance on the blog.

Your hair looks amazing!! I don't know if the color is new (or I am just late to the game) but its incredible. So fall. And the skirt is a great color on you.
ReplyDeleteYou Looks Stunning in these lovely Pictures!! Fantastic Color Combination Rocks Big Time!! Just Loved this Skirt!!
ReplyDeleteYou Know what i am as curvy as you and i am always shy in wearing bright colors i try to cover my self all the time coz i feel that i look odd but after looking at your pictures i realized that curves looks more pretty and you know really well how to flaunt them
ReplyDeleteOoo this has me itching for fall! This looks great!
ReplyDeleteI really want your pencil skirt collection. I am super jealous of it. This is the perfect fall outfit. The color combo is bright and chic. Homerun. See I can use baseball terminology even when talking about clothing and i know nothing about baseball. lol.
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit! Such an unexpected combination, but it works!
ReplyDeleteYour hair always looks amazing. Would you ever consider posting a tutorial on how you style it - say, for example the way you have it styled in these photos?
ReplyDeleteThanks!
