I think all that fawning over my striped blazer put me in a striped state of mind! As for the skirt, I picked it because it's functional. I'm heading to dinner with co-workers tonight and needed something that could get me through the day without getting too terribly wrinkled. Plus the fact that it isn't uber restricting like a few of my other skirts makes a delicious mexican dinner all the more enjoyable. Now if I can somehow manage keep this outfit clean, it will be a win/win.
I've decided that stripes are no longer a pattern--they are a neutral. As evidenced here! The pops of pink are so cute and bold. Enjoy your mexican dinner--now I think I'm going to be dreaming of fajitas all day.
ReplyDeletePerhaps you can keep your outfit clean by using a bib as a pop of color?

Haha, I love the expressions on your face in these photos. You OWN the awkward experience of taking public park photos, girl! Okay yeah I just used the slang terms "own" and "girl" in the same sentence. Please still be my friend, I'll take you out for Mexican one day..
ReplyDeleteSo THAT's how you wear a bold animal print. With subtle stripes. Good to know. That looks great!
ReplyDeletethat skirt is SO cool!!
ReplyDeletelol nice suggestion Terri!
ReplyDeleteLOL - you like my awkward expressions?! I swear something about the cooler weather is bringing all kinds of passerbys and gardeners out of the wood work. I may need a new location for the next few days.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jen!
ReplyDeleteI love the print of that skirt!
ReplyDeleteI am heading to a Mexican dinner after work, too! I am soo ready.
ReplyDeleteI always have a hard time with that "keeping it clean" part--especially since I take photos at the end of the day. I'm pretty klutzy too. Anyway, I love the mix of the stripes with the print of that skirt. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSuper, super cute! Love the mixture of prints and color
