You'd think I'd be in the habit of checking the weather in the morning seeing as traipsing to the park for outfit photo is part of my usual routine. Apparently, I didn't get my own memo. Not only is rain kind of depressing, it also puts in a damper in my blogging routine. So rather than let this outfit go to waste {or try again next week}, I went the impatient route and used my kitchen/dining room as my backdrop.
*Note to self, remove the hordes of junk food from the top of fridge before taking more indoor photos {hopefully I'll get that memo}.
Love that top! Ugh I hate indoor photos too, but yours come out really nice!
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely getting to be that time of year...I guess I better find somewhere indoors for when it inevitably happens to me, too!
ReplyDeleteAdore the black/white/mustard combo, especially with the mushroom pumps and black tights. So chic!
Love the sheer blouse....Im leaving my outfit pics for the weekends when I actually have light, lol.

I think the stuff on top of the fridge is fine! Makes you more human IMO - not just some amazing fashion blogger we all visit each day! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm suffering from some serious skirt envy at present! And I also think that the heels are a nice touch--are they kind of a mossy green? Love.
ReplyDeleteAlso, can I just say, props on that serious shelving unit?
Hahaha, you look beautiful. I am the crazy person who loves taking photos in the rain b/c it means the lighting will be sort of haunting and no peepers will be around. It also means I have to redo my hair though, so sometimes my laziness overrides the craziness.
ReplyDeleteaww, what a pretty look! I LOVE your polkadot blouse! x
ReplyDeleteObsessed with that skirt!! So gorgeous - what a great color. You really gave this outfit a twist with the belt over the shirt too - I love the whole thing!
ReplyDeleteThat top is super, super cute. I just can't get enough polka dots!

Ohhh what is this Midwest Blogger Meet Up you talk about....Detroit isn't too far away!
ReplyDeleteNow I know what color to call these shoes!
ReplyDeleteThe shoes are kinda of a darker nude/brown color. Bibliomama called them Mushroom which sound about right!
ReplyDeleteI've tried my fair share against the weather elements but I just can't take the rain with the cold temperatures. You're just tougher than me Monk. But I think we all knew that to begin with.
ReplyDeleteI really need a polka dot top like this...so cute!
