Sister Skirt

The other day I pulled a skirt from my closet that hadn't been worn in 4 years. Tongue twister time, today's skirt is that skirt's sister. Over the years this one has faired a bit better, meaning that I haven’t worn it in, oh, about 3 years. I've either lost a bit of weight {note, I'm eating a doughnut as I write this} or I’m better at picking out pieces that conceal the snug factor of the skirt. I’m going to go with the latter.

On a non style related note, it snowed this morning! Actually, it’s still snowing. Time to start procrastinating and start imagining all the fun I could be having on my hypothetical snow day!

Here comes the snow, here comes the snow, and I say it's all right

  1. this is a wonderful skirt and i can't believe it's been so long since it's been worn! i have those items in my closet too that i've been trying to wear now that i'm on a stricter shopping budget. i love the pairing with the argyle sweater and scarf. so fun!

and we had a bunch of snow too but unfortunately not enough to be snowed in. i'm dreaming of my imaginary snow day too! :)

  5. So I have been loving your blog after recently finding it. I am a 9-5 er as well and while I love all the great fashion bloggers, I can only wear their styles on the weekend (and oh do I try) but I can definitely take a page out of your book (blog?) for my everyday (ie work) attire. Love it!

Also, rockin' living in Kentucky as well, but we didn't get that much snow where I am! I'm jealous. I've been dying to go sledding!

  7. Your hair looks amazing in these photos. What products do you use to keep it straight and voluminous, and well, so gorgeous? Love the green sweater!

I'm working on my 7 things -- hehee, thanks for tagging me! Although when you see the dorky photos from my childhood, you may regret you did :)

  13. Thanks JoAnn {pst, looking forward to your 7 things}! As far as hair products go, I use sulfate free shampoo and conditioner and then bumble and bumble tonic spray and straight serum. The volume is more due to the fact that I have a lot of hair, so no secrets there.
