Two days is the apparent max on Casual Liz. Not that I don't want to be Casual Liz, its just that my boss prefers BC {business casual} Liz. So here we are and a skirt it is. And look - bare legs! The weather is finally creeping up to the 70s and I couldn't be more ecstatic. Although as I type this, tornado sirens are going off in the background. But hey, I'll take spring weather {crazy weather warnings included} if it means the end of frost/snow/ice/oranythingelseCOLD. One of co-workers picked up on my excitement for Spring. You know what she told me? That I looked like an Easter egg. Considering what else she could of said, I'll take it as as compliment.

  7. Holy colors, Liz!!!

If my easter eggs turned out that saturated, I'd be making a business! LOVE this combo- LOVE that you added the yellow belt to contrast the cooler colors... and last, but not least, I need those shoes. Immediately.

  9. Try working with four year olds-- I look like some "thing" different everyday, depending on outfit, of course.
I like the three diff colors paired with the nude shoes! :)

  12. I like both Casual and Business Casual Liz equally. You look awesome and stunning no matter what. So there.

Also, good luck with the GMAT. I believe that for business school, yes? I myself really need to crack down and take the GRE so I can apply to an Anthropology PhD. I bought the books 4 months ago, but never really made it far. So kudos to you, and good luck, and I hope you get in where you apply!

  13. You look fantastic- not like an Easter Egg fantastic either! Great color combiniation. I have a very similar skirt but have yet to figure out how to wear it. Hmm...maybe you gave me some inspiration. I will have to wait though, cold weather has creeped back in here in KY. Stay safe in your scary weather.

  14. I don't see the Easter egg thing lol. I wear this combination all the time, my cardigan is the same pink as your skirt today! I would love to get rid of my snow, I'm bundled up in skinny cords and boots. Bare legs of mine won't be out til June, May at the earliest! Considering there's another 15-20 cm of snow forecast for tomorrow, I think I'll be doing good if I can wear shorts by then!

  17. SO FUN in this color combination. And I regret not putting together a tights-less outfit in the last few days, since as you know we're back to cold again.... (Also, the tornado sirens - I learned that some counties around here sound them when there's a tornado watch at the same time as a severe storm warning - so they don't necessarily mean a tornado is imminent. How we'll know when a tornado is actually here...? No idea.)

  18. Yay! We had bare-leg weather on Friday. Of course, today it snowed so we're back to square one but it certainly feels like spring is arriving. That skirt is adorable and I love the color combos!

  21. People say the weirdest things. I personally do not think you look like an Easter egg AT ALL, but if I thought one of my coworkers did I'd probably keep that little nugget to myself. I like the color combo in your outfit plus the neutral shoes.

  22. I don't think you look like an easter egg, but who cares what they say? The color of that skirt is divine!

  28. Thanks Kate! And yes, the GMAT is for business school. Good luck when you start studying for the GRE. From what I hear it's a bit more streamlined than the GMAT.

  32. The bright colors work b/c of the bare legs and nude shoes (which I am loving by the way!)

  33. This is a perfect and well put together outfit. I would so wear this. I love your use of colours and I adore the nude shoes. I have been searching for nude heels for almost a year now but I have still not been able to find the right pair.
