Yes, I'm still rocking tights and closed toe shoes - but this stripe-y spring-y shirt is making me feel a heckuva lot better that it's still only 40 degrees outside. And you know what else is pretty awesome about this shirt? It was only $13. Got to love H&M {did I mention the belt was only $5?}! I practically threw my money at the cashier and went skipping out of the store in joy {ok, I didn't skip but I'm pretty sure I had a HUGE smile on my face}.

Oh and hey, this outfit finally brings me up to date with my outfit posts. That is to say, I am actually wearing this outfit as I type type type away. I find it so much easier to blog about an outfit the day I wear it {maybe that's just me}. But my brain can't seem to retain specifics after the 24 hour mark. Hi, I'm Liz and my short term memory stinks.

  1. I love the shirt-- in fact, thinking about heading out to my local H&M right now... hmm... Even with the booties and tights, it does feel springy.

  3. Very cute, and I agree, if I didn't wear the outfit that day, I find it MUCH harder to have anything to say!

  10. BOooo, sorry to be giving you the internet comments version of throwing a tomato but I am really upset that that top is H&M and I live nowhere near that store. I get to go about once a year and I have a feeling they might be sold out at Christmas. It is so cuteness! And I love the contrasting color tights.

  11. Hey now, I love that top, and just like Monkeyface I do not live anywhere near an H&M. I love the springy-ness it brings! I tend to do my outfits the day after I wear them.. Just can't find the time on the day of to do it all!

  16. My favorite part of this outfit is the tights. If I am seeing correctly they are olive green, which is an awesome color, and I love that the color isn't anywhere else in the outfit, but it seems to go with it perfectly. My short term memory is terrible as well. In fact...what was I just talking about?

  17. Great striped shirt! I almost bought a similar one at Zara, but should check out H&M first. For $13 that's a steal!!!

  20. Thanks Kate! They look more green in this picture than they really are. It's a gray/green mix, leaning on more of a gray tone. But hey nonetheless I'll take your compliment and run with it :)

  28. I was looking at this H&M piece online - and it said it was a dress. I trust you more than H&M, and now fear it is a top that is long. Which is fine, cause I don't plan to pull off the dress that is too short look.
