Surprise, surprise I went shopping while I was in Pittsburgh this past weekend. While the guys in my family play in our annual golf tournament {seriously, it’s a real tournament - I have a t-shirt to prove it} us girls spend our time where it’s air conditioned, the mall. You know I always earnestly try to give up shopping while participating in the 30 for 30, but I just can’t seem to give up the habit. Things like this lovely little scarf just pop up and insist on being purchased {peer pressure from shopping partner also doesn’t help}. So just call me Rebecca Bloomwood – the girl with the leopard print scarf.

  2. Don't feel bad.  I've done thrift shopping during this 30 for 30 challenge.  I can't seem to quit that.  I guess that's the benefit of a 30 for 30 with no rules.  You can't be wrong.

  6. I love the way you are wearing that scarf. It doesn't even look like a scarf in the picture. It looks like a really cool avant garde graphic print dress. Will be trying to steal this!

  7. Beautiful! It's the perfect accessory for that dress! I've styled a scarf the same way but in the winter. I can't imagine wearing them in the summer in Florida, I really need to buy some lighter scarves and work them into my summer attire!

  13. I'm with you--shopping sounds much more appealing than golfing. You can't go wrong with a pretty scarf and an LBD!

  19. Oooh, gorgeous scarf!  And I love how you added the brooch.  My inlaws have had golf tournaments for years (BIG golf family) and they kept trying to get me to play forever, but I get bored to tears.   The mall is definitely more my cup of tea too!
