Much like my red shirt, this vest has managed to spend most this remix on the sidelines. Unlike, my red shirt it isn't because of it's color or {surprise} my mixed feelings. I really love this vest! I included it in this round of the 30 for 30 because I was {am} hoping to figure out a few ways to incorporate this fun piece into my work wear. While I tend to think I am better at merging the two personalities of my closet {kudos to the blog}, not all of my pieces come together as seamlessly as I would like. In the end, I think the vest really finished off this outfit. But not gonna lie, I am not sure how to wear it next. Suggestions anyone?
you look very pretty!

I like that vest a lot. Maybe try it with a sleeveless dress?
ReplyDeleteHmmm ... I think you have styled it really well. It looks like a thicker knit? I can see it working with a turtleneck sweater and pants or jeans when it gets cooler. And definitely keep the necklace ... it looks great!!!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely think this vest worked in this outfit. I think you look so stylish & classy.
ReplyDeleteHi liz well you look greatas always, would you consider modelling a white sheet, green apron, bakers hat and sacred garments?
ReplyDeleteThank you.
Liz- dang! your photography have gotten so good! I still remember when you were taking your mirror pictures back in the day. These are seriously really good. I love the first one especially, how crisp the photo is.
ReplyDeleteI'm have no idea how to wear vests, so I'm no help there.
Thanks Kimmie! I've trying to improve my skills...next up different poses lol. I think I only have 3.
ReplyDeleteLove this classic look. The setting is beautiful too and only enhances what's there. I absolutely adore it.
ReplyDeleteIf I ever get a job in the corporate world I am having you dress me, ok? For the vest, what about belting OVER it?
ReplyDeleteYou are so pretty! I really love this outfit.

I'm seeing the vest with a teal top and skinny jeans. Maybe belted on top?
ReplyDeletePlain ol' tee shirt (I'm envisioning a beautiful heather gray) and skinny jeans with a pair of heels. Not super work appropriate though.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! Thanks Steph
ReplyDeleteThanks! I really love it - just need to wear it more!
ReplyDeleteOhhh great idea Kate! And I'm your girl if you need any corporate tips!
