{Top & Belt: H&M, Skirt: Gap, Tights: Limited, Boots: Steve Madden}
Yes, I'm still rocking tights and closed toe shoes - but this stripe-y spring-y shirt is making me feel a heckuva lot better that it's still only 40 degrees outside. And you know what else is pretty awesome about this shirt? It was only $13. Got to love H&M {did I mention the belt was only $5?}! I practically threw my money at the cashier and went skipping out of the store in joy {ok, I didn't skip but I'm pretty sure I had a HUGE smile on my face}.
Oh and hey, this outfit finally brings me up to date with my outfit posts. That is to say, I am actually wearing this outfit as I type type type away. I find it so much easier to blog about an outfit the day I wear it {maybe that's just me}. But my brain can't seem to retain specifics after the 24 hour mark. Hi, I'm Liz and my short term memory stinks.
I love the shirt-- in fact, thinking about heading out to my local H&M right now... hmm... Even with the booties and tights, it does feel springy.
ReplyDeleteThat's one awesome stripe-y shirt with great colours. I can send you some sunny weather if you want :) xo
ReplyDeleteVery cute, and I agree, if I didn't wear the outfit that day, I find it MUCH harder to have anything to say!
ReplyDeleteGreat stripes---and yes H&M has amazing sales!
ReplyDeleteI love the orange and pink together. I wonder if I have any pink and orange i can pair together. Look at me already plotting to copy you! Hi, I'm Christine and I like to copy Liz! :)

H&M is the best! I love how many affordable, great pieces (like your top!) they have!

Fun blog!
ReplyDeleteBOooo, sorry to be giving you the internet comments version of throwing a tomato but I am really upset that that top is H&M and I live nowhere near that store. I get to go about once a year and I have a feeling they might be sold out at Christmas. It is so cuteness! And I love the contrasting color tights.
ReplyDeleteHey now, I love that top, and just like Monkeyface I do not live anywhere near an H&M. I love the springy-ness it brings! I tend to do my outfits the day after I wear them.. Just can't find the time on the day of to do it all!
ReplyDeleteI love the top, I bought another one that is light yellow striped that they had next to it in the store. Now I'm kinda regretting not buying that one

Girl, those stripes ARE your best friend! You look like a perfectly iced cupcake, ribboned with fondant.
ReplyDeleteNo one said I wasn't hungry for sweets...
HOORAY for being up to date on outfits!

OMG! I love that shirt! You are rocking it! I gotta invest in some stripes & polka dots! <3

My favorite part of this outfit is the tights. If I am seeing correctly they are olive green, which is an awesome color, and I love that the color isn't anywhere else in the outfit, but it seems to go with it perfectly. My short term memory is terrible as well. In fact...what was I just talking about?

Great striped shirt! I almost bought a similar one at Zara, but should check out H&M first. For $13 that's a steal!!!
ReplyDeleteOooh. I've been on the hunt for candy-colored stripes. I always forget to check H&M!
ReplyDeletehahahh!i laughed a lot with your last phrase! lovely outfit!i got a sweater from H&M like this 3 months ago and I havent properly worn it yet!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kate! They look more green in this picture than they really are. It's a gray/green mix, leaning on more of a gray tone. But hey nonetheless I'll take your compliment and run with it :)
ReplyDeleteI am really glad I snatched it up! Looks to be like a spring staple!
ReplyDeleteThanks and good luck on your search!
ReplyDeleteplease please PLEASE send some nice weather. it's starting to get depressing around here!
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't even on sale! Such a steal :)
ReplyDeleteI'm all about copying! Cheers to you friend.
ReplyDeletewell well well, i believe it is :)
ReplyDeleteDo I need to make a check visit over to my local store and snatch one up for you? I totally will. Just say the word.
ReplyDeleteI've had my eye on that top for awhile, You may have just sold me on it. Love this look!

That shirt is definitely an awesome piece, I love the colors!
ReplyDeleteI was looking at this H&M piece online - and it said it was a dress. I trust you more than H&M, and now fear it is a top that is long. Which is fine, cause I don't plan to pull off the dress that is too short look.
ReplyDeleteI have that shirt! Holla' :) :) :)
