{Dress & Belt: Target, Necklace: Banana Repubic, Shoes: Seychelles}
You know when I bought this dress, I wasn't really thinking about all of the potential possibilities or remix options.
Basically, I saw it on Kendi, ran to my nearest Target and highjacked her style {I'm good at that}. It's surprisingly turned into quite the little remix horse during the last 30 for 30. After realizing I could wear it under a skirt, I wasn't sure I had any other tricks up my sleeve. Then I spied Angeline sporting this dress backwards and I knew I had to try it!
I really like the high, straight neckline that wearing it backwards created. I'm thinking you may see it again sometime soon.
What a fun idea! I'll have to try it backwards, too. Do you like the way it looks from behind?
ReplyDeleteI did that just today (wore a skirt over a dress). I thought I would be forever adjusting my clothes, but I wasn't. Yeah! Also, I'm curious ... you said your wearing this dress backwards but I want to know what it looks like from the back?

Love it! I have the green patterned one - I love the pattern, but the fit on the front takes some fussing, so this is the perfect solution.
ReplyDeleteACK! SUCH a cute flip! I bet the back looks great too.
ReplyDeleteOh, I just love the olive color with the cheetah belt. It's one of my favorite combinations.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I love how you wore this backwards! It's always so fun to find out that a favorite piece can be manipulated another way!
Need more leopard in my life, so I love the belt. I'd really like to find leopard, flat peep-toes.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful outfit. x
ReplyDeleteAw MAN, I knew I should've grabbed that dress when I had the chance. This backwards look is right up my alley. K I'm at least jumping on the belt if they have one at my Target, I've been pining for an affordable leopard print waist for awhile now..
ReplyDeletebrilliant!! love it backwards! you sure are a creative girl!!

ReplyDeleteThat is how i did it too!!!
ReplyDeleteBrava! It does create a nice neckline, and I do love the leopard belt. Oh, and it's okay. I highjack Kendi's style sometimes, too.

I thought this dress looked familiar but couldn't figure out why. Haha. What a great way to remix a dress!
ReplyDeleteLove the look of this backwards, you're making me want to go try all my dresses on flipped around! And I can't believe that belt is from Target, I hope it was a recent purchase because I'm going to go search for it ASAP!
ReplyDeleteI also own this dress and now I think I must wear it backwards. Awesome idea!
ReplyDeleteLove this look- it's so creative that you thought to wear it backwards, that's a great way to extend a current wardrobe. And I love the touch of the leopard belt!
ReplyDeletethis is so great! I've got to tell you....I was dressed....then saw this...and went to change so I could also wear my dress backwards! haha thanks for the idea—you're awesome!
ReplyDeleteNice! I wish I could have found the solid green one on sale at my store, but alas, only the yellow print was on sale. It looks even better on you. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd for those that are wondering...it looks FAB from behind.
Oh, backwards! Now I'm going to have to look at all my dresses and see how they might look backwards...
ReplyDeletegreat idea! I love this cool thing with wearing dresses backwards - so many new ideas for outfits!) The dress is really cute - I love how olive combines with leopard belt <3
