{Top: Anthro, Pants: Express, Belt & Bracelet: H&M, Shoes: Bandolino}
In an effort to beat the Monday Feeling {and the cold}, I've opted to wear my favorite new shirt {okay, the sheerness was not a good idea when trying to beat the cold}. This piece of flowery awesomeness would be one of the few pre 30 for 30 purchases I made. See it's my birthday month and as such I received lots of little coupons from my favorite retailers. If anyone else out there has a February birthday you can probably relate to the statement I'm about to make. February is the worst shopping month EVER!
Between what's left over {and I mean left over} from the holiday's and the beginning of resort wear season, there really isn't much to shop for. But somewhere between the clearance rack and the pieces that are entirely too ridiculous to wear when snow is still on the ground, I found this lovely. And I had a coupon! Now while a coupon to Anthro doesn't save you much {pretty much it saved me tax}, I couldn't pass it up. Really what I'm doing is trying to rationalize spending more than I prefer on 1 top. But it's okay {I say for the tenth time), because I love it. No, I luuuurrrve it.
very cute :)!
ReplyDelete100% agree! Your new shirt is definitely lovely!! I luuurrrve it as well ;) x
ReplyDeleteGirl you look great!! Loving outdoor Liz!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous top, gorgeous Outdoor Liz.
ReplyDeleteVery cute outfit. I love big cowl-y scarves so much. I'm currently fighting a very annoying flu, and doubled up my AA circle scarf for warmth while out yesterday. Same effect, sooooo much fabric. I recommend it for a fellow scarf lover such as yourself.
ReplyDeleteI love your top! I never find anything in February either so you scored!

Love all the colors in this outfit and I can relate to both buying pre 30x30 clothing AND getting coupons and spending lots of money during your birthday month. Mine is in March right when the challenge is over:)
ReplyDeleteOh my word, this is my favorite so far! I love that top!
ReplyDeleteYou're totally right about February being an awful month for shopping. It's a weird weather month in general.
ReplyDeleteOutfit = perfection
ReplyDeletePic poses = ABSOLUTE perfection!
That blouse is perfect for the season transition :) And I love the snood!! Where is it from?
ReplyDeleteYou're right! February isn't the best of months for shopping. I'm glad you were able to snag that top! I love the colors and how great it goes with the brown belt.
ReplyDeleteLove that top! Isn't it funny how bright clothes can make a dark day better!?
ReplyDeletehow do you manage to make monday look so cheerful and chic? and as usual, i'm jealous of your kate hudson-perfect hair--it always looks so bouncy and gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI refuse to believe you look like this on a Monday morning. And I'm with Tania on the Kate Hudson hair too!
ReplyDeleteLove the scarf, love the shirt. If you love it, and you're going to wear it often, and you feel gorgeous in it--it's absolutely worth every penny. Especially for a birthday purchase!
The Top was so worth the buy! Looks really pretty, especially with the scarf. Outdoors suits you really well :)
ReplyDeleteI love that blouse! And the whole outfit looks great!
ReplyDeleteAlso, how did you edit your pictures? They look so dreamy today!
I love that blouse! I'm sure it's worth being a little chilly. And these pics are really great!~
ReplyDeleteOh I love this look! I love the bell bottom pants and that top is really cute - even if you are freezing your butt off ;)
ReplyDeleteooooo...i luuuuuurrrrve it too! ...and this scarf...and your hair...and your face.
ReplyDeleteYou are so lovely! Happy birthmonth! :) I never thought about the bad February shopping before. I have a September birthday, so I am pretty lucky in that area...
ReplyDeleteLIZ, this blouse is SO BEAUTIFUL and so are you!! I think it's the first time I've seen the blouse on its own and what a gorgeous cut it is in addition to the print. Yay, so excited for your almost birthday!
ReplyDeleteOooh I love this shirt and scarf combo! So pretty on you!
ReplyDeleteYou are just too cute. Love this outfit on you! Totally digging the outside Liz btw.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, absolutely everything about the outfit and you and the scenery, so pretty!
ReplyDeleteHaha... I think the difference is that I love the crazy stuff left over... I live in Hamilton, On and sometimes the shoppers (this is especially at Winners/TJ Maxx) don't recognize the good name brands and are afraid of the crazy... this is where I swoop in.
ReplyDeleteGreat blouse though!
ooooh such a pretty colored scarf. ANd I've never really thought about the February shopping thing... but i can see it now. I guess i don't do a lot of shopping around this time.

ReplyDeleteGreat outfit. Love the colors. That shirt is adorable.
ReplyDeleteWorth. Every. Penny.
ReplyDeleteI think this is a perfect Monday outfit to beat the blues. I love the flowey top. Anthro knows what they're doing, but why do they have to be so overpriced!
ReplyDeleteLove the outfit!!!! Love the colors. You can look at February another way too. I like to shop in February because I catch a lot of truly clearanced winter items. I know they may not be trendy for next year, but I really just wear what I like anyway. Oh!!! yeah and plus I can least wear them for another two, two and half months if you live where I live. Happy outfiting!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the top and how you rock it with the pants. So pretty.
ReplyDeleteI lurve it too. Who wouldn't? Every ounce of this look is awesome. Where is that scarf from? Or maybe it's already in the comments.
ReplyDeleteWow that top is gorgeous and your hair looks amazing, wish I had that kind of volume!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love your top, such pretty colours =) You're so pretty!! I love your hair colour too. Definitely following you now =D

Thanks Sian!
ReplyDeleteThanks Liz! Thick hair helps, but I promise it's lots of dry shampoo and back combing. Works like a charm.
ReplyDeleteIt's from a local boutique. I picked it up at a trunk show last year!
ReplyDeleteThannks Angeline! Wait to you see it untucked - it's pretty much a dress!
ReplyDeleteyou're taking the words right out of my mouth!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sheryl!
ReplyDeleteYou should trademark the phrase "afraid of the crazy". Although I never think your looks are crazy! They're too fabulous to be crazy.
ReplyDeleteYOU are so freaking adorable, it's not even funny. Love the first photo. A LOT. I also really heart outside Liz. :)
ReplyDeleteThat blouse is amazing. I'm a new follower and love what I see :)
