Here we are! One last final look at my winter 30 for 30. This challenge felt a bit different - maybe because I had already successfully completed one {rather than quitting like I did the first time} challenge? Maybe because I wasn't as preoccupied and obsessive {I had multiple spreadsheets last time}? Let's hit the highlights.
- 30 outfits and I didn't once wear my blue jacket. Shame on me, I know. Lots of you loved it, but it looks quite boxy on. This piece may be going to get altered very soon.
- 2 other tops {green cowl neck sweater and black/maroon bird print top} only had 1 wear a piece. Basically that means I remixed the heck out of 27 pieces. This is nothing new, the same thing basically happenened the last time around.
- I love my yellow J Crew skirt! I had a few other "planned" outfits that didn't quite make the blog. All of which involved this skirt.
- I wore belts EVERY day! I didn't even realize that until I saw all of these together. I think that may be my longest stretch? Other counts: 8 days with scarves, 7 with necklaces and 1 with an umbrella.
- Random, but I did less hairstyles this time around. Let's go ahead and call a spade a spade. I was lazy.
- I started this challenge on 1/30 and finished on 3/3. That's 33 days {I think}. Not too shabby.
- Last by certainly not least. My favorites. Let's go with a top five: #'s 7, 12, 22, 27 & 29. What about you?
Hmm, I'm having a super hard time deciding between 12 & 29. Colors in 12 just make me happy and there is something oh so European casual chic about 29. Remix Liz got skillz.
ReplyDeleteI can't choose my favorite! There are so many good ones up there! I will say, though, that I am coveting that mustard J.Crew skirt of yours. I love it. SO remixable. :) Good job, you rocked the challenge. :)
ReplyDeleteHmmm, top five for me are: 1, 2, 7, 9, 26. Woo hoo, now shopping time!

I really like #17 and #29! Way to go! And I agree with some of the other comments regarding the fact that I would never guess you were remixing the same 30 items. Impressive.

ReplyDeleteWhen I make a Liz paper doll she is going to be wearing a belt, leaning to the right and adorable :-) Yeah for being done!!
ReplyDeleteI love your 30x30 round up! I had a couple of pieces only make it in once or twice too... guess it's easy to just stick with our favorite pieces! I think my fave are #4 and #30 - what can I say, I'm a casual girl! :)
ReplyDeleteA belt every day! That is amazing. And you can't overwear that yellow skirt in my book. It is so great on you.
